FYI, I got unlazy and cleared all the users from Joomla, I've been assaulted by bots recently. I kept any accounts I recognized, but didn't try very hard (like 2 of you). So... well, I don't know why I'm bothering to tell anyone, nobody ever logs in, but if you did your account is probably gone. I wouldn't bother creating a new one, not until I fix this thing so it has some form of spam protection. Oh, and new post :P |

Ok, so I'm thinking of trying to raise some extra money for the cost of the site by putting some ads on here. These wouldn't be pop up ads or anything nasty, just a banner at the bottom. I've never exactly been all for ads, but I can understand other sites that need to make money, so long as they don't re size my window and stuff. So the question I pose to you all is....
Should I put ads on the site, a single 486x60 banner at the bottom? Vote using the poll on the right, let me know what you think. |

The history of The Order of Atlas begins with a council by the same name, started by Penzdragon almost 9 years ago. Soon after launching his site in May of '02, DarkArchon took over and launched ooaomega.netfirms.com in July of '02. In June of 2004 the orderofatlas.com URL was purchased and the rest is history. While ooa.com's main goal continues to be providing support to Magellan Wars in the form of links, guides, and the MagellanWars Wiki, we also host a variety of other features and are constantly expanding for the community. |
